Ted and I and the fellows - Horace Champion, Joe Willie Dennis, Fred Bates, Jack Crowder, Michael Ball, The Calhoun's and too many to name, played countless hours of basketball from the time we were old enough to dribble until we graduated from High School. Seldom was a harsh word ever passed between us and we all had a million laughs and some fun and unforgetable times together. Ted died much too soon!

My best friend growing up and never missed a chance to see and visit with him when I came to Wichita. Loved the guy and was so saddened with his passing. My prayers are with him and his family.

Fred was one of my very best friends all through junior high and high school. A great guy who was genuine in every way, and was always low key and up beat. The complete opposite from me in those days. Thank goodness! I will always remember and cherish the times we spent growing from children to young men. God Bless you and rest in peace my friend and my brother.

In case this name doesn't sound familiar I changed in during the late 1960's from Rodney Eugene Davis. I moved to California after graduation and have been there since. I have a B.A. degree in Ethnic Studies and I am in several Martial Arts Halls Of Fame for training 43 World Champions. I am semi-retired and have 2 teenage daughters. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and train professional UFC and Bellator fighters and scores of martial arts students of every age. I am a Christian (Catholic}.
