Richard O. Bannon, Obituary
Richard passed away in the comfort of his home in Princeton, Texas on the morning of October 29, 2015 from esophageal cancer. He was 66 years old. Richard was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 4, 1949 to William Olin Bannon and Rachel Virginia Bannon (Fields). He graduated Wichita North High School in 1968. play music by ear and his favorite instrument was the trumpet. He enjoyed living on the lake, fishing, boating, NASCAR, and entertaining friends and family. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Olin and Rachel Bannon as well as wife Phyllis Bannon. Richard is survived by the mother of his children and former wife Shirley Smith; daughters Richelle Bannon of Dallas, Texas and Keelee Kennington and son-in-law Greg Kennington of Murphy, Texas; his grandchildren Jaden, Jake, and Hannah; his sister Judy Fear and brother-in-law Larry Fear of Wichita, Kansas; niece Amy Fear and nephew John Fear; multiple cousins in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas; and close friend and caregiver Casey Forsyth of Princeton, Texas.
