Leslie was one of the first persons I met when I moved from Dallas TX to Wichita KS at the start of my 9th grade year. She was friendly, with an open smile and kind. When you are 14 it is common to be more concerend with yourself than others - but Leslie was not like that. She made this 'other' feel welcomed. She will be missed at the reunion.
Leslie was a good friend while I was In Wichita and then through college at KU. We spent many great weekends with her and her husband John here at the Lake back in the good old days. Her passing at such a young age was heartbreaking. Attended her funeral service and burial. Very sweet person gone too soon!
