I'm sorry that I missed your obituary in the newspaper. I usually do a better job of keeping tabs on my old friends. I am sorry for your loss, Pam, children and grand children. To say Don and I were tight in high school would be an understatement. If we weren't together creating havoc,  doing something productive or getting caught doing something unproductive, we were probably having a dull day. Oh, the times we had, running around the city in your black Corvair. Noisy beast it was. Don's favorite thing to do was to rev up the engine on the black beast, and backfire under the bridge over Douglas at the railroad overpass. You would have thought that someone blew a tire or shot at you for sure. I relish the days in high school when he would stop on Arkansas and pick me and my brother up on the way to school. It saved me time and energy. I'll be forever beholden to you, my friend.
